The 2013 Russian Meteorite is Not the Big One?

A meteor the size of a bus exploded in the atmosphere over the Russian Urals city of Chelyabinsk on Feb. 15, Russia time. Injuries are said to be heading toward 1,000, mainly due to flying glass and debris. But we are told this is NOT the large meteorite predicted to pass our planet today. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but were we ever told anything about this smaller meteor?? It just appeared out of nowhere? I haven't heard any explanation yet as to why there was no mention nor warning of this smaller meteorite that caused such damage in Russia. I can only assume it was the usual action of the government to remain mute about such a close encounter to avoid panic in the streets.

NASA reiterated today the larger meteor will miss the Earth as it passes about 17,000 miles away. That distance is closer than the satellites currently in orbit around us. Watch the skies today folks, you just might see it.
