Chuck Norris recently expressed his opinion of what he thinks is Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s plan to get America to drop bombs on his own country. In a column written for WND.com, he stated his suggestions for avoiding a typical Western imperialist response that could lead us into WWIII. He created a short list of common sense suggestions the U.S. and Obama should do instead of bombing Syria in haste. And almost immediately, mainstream media attempts to turn his column into a joke. Could it have something to do with WND being - "A fiercely independent news site committed to hard-hitting investigative reporting of government waste, fraud and abuse"?
Greg Gillman of The Wrap - Covering Hollywood, glossed over Mr. Norris's column and zeroed in on the suggestions to add what he surely believed was a clever remark: "So what makes Norris — an actor who has never held public office — an authority on foreign policy? He knows karate. Duh."
Ha. Ha.
Yeah, Mr. Norris should have held public office first to become an "authority" on foreign policy before giving his suggestions, because afterall, those public office authorities have been doing such a great job so far haven't they?
